Rosehip Seed Oil is produced from the seeds contained inside the berries of a wild rose bush that grows abundantly in the southern Andes: Rosa rubiginosa, also known as Rosa Mosqueta by the locals in Chile and Argentina.What sets Rosehip Seed Oil apart from other natural oils is the bioavailable retinoic acid (a metabolite of vitamin A) it contains. Retinoic acid delays the effects of skin aging, assists cell regeneration, and promotes the increase of collagen and elastin levels that provide structural support for the skin.
